"The Starry Night View 2" is a digital artwork. The original artwork, "The Starry Night " was painted in 1889 by post-impressionist painter, Vincent van Gogh. Van Gogh described to his brother, Theo, in a letter what inspired him to paint "The Starry Night." "This morning I saw the countryside from my window a long time before sunrise, with nothing but the morning star, which looked very big," wrote van Gogh.
